Mira Mesa Senior Center (MMSC) is currently home to three emeritus programs of San Diego Continuing Education-North City Campus.

1. HEALTH EDUCATION – OLDER ADULTS
   Every Tuesday, 2:00am to 3:30pm Every Wednesday, 1:30pm to 3:00pm
2. WU/HAO STYLE TAI CHI
   Every Thursday, 9:30pm to 11:00am
3. IKEBANA-JAPANESE FLOWER ARRANGEMENT
   Every Wednesday, 9:30am to 12:30pm

All of these classes are free to older adults and seniors.  

Health and Wellness: HICAP – Medicare Counseling on location.  Call to schedule a one-on-one appointment at 1800-434-0222.  

Education & Advocacy: Legal Aid Society – On site free consumer health and much more.  Call 877-534-2524 to make an appointment. Elder Law & Advocacy – Free legal advice for seniors, including basic estate planning, landlord/tenant issues, probate, etc.  By appointment only, please call 858-565-1392.  

Recreational Activities:

Mahjong – Tuesdays – 9:00am – 1:00pm

Seasonal Gardening – Wednesdays – 10:00am – 12:00pm

Yoga – Wednesdays – 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Zumba – On hiatus until further notice

Tai Chi – Thursdays – 9:30am – 11:00am

Fun Karaoke – Thursdays – 11:30am – 1:30pm

Bingo – Fridays – 9:00am – 11:00am

Only 50 cents for three cards. No admittance after 10:00am!

Dancercise – Fridays – 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Line Dancing – Fridays – 3:30pm – 5:00pm
